Marrakech Desert Buggy Tour Including Berber Tea Break and transfer

Get off the beaten track and escape the city during this 4-hour all-terrain buggy excursion into the desert outside Marrakech. This fun-filled ride by quad bike offers a great mix of adventure, beautiful natural scenery, relaxed pace and a chance discover Morocco’s ancient Berber culture. Start your trip with a pickup at either 9am (for the morning tour option) or 2pm (for the afternoon tour) from your hotel. In some cases, you may need to make a short walk to reach your ride, as not all areas of the Medina are accessible by car. From there you’ll proceed out into the wide-open expanse of the desert, a collection of snow-capped peaks visible in the distance. Reach the base camp for your excursion and listen to a short safety briefing on the proper handling of your quad bike. After you’ve also put on your necessary protective gear, join your guide for your ride on the rocky dirt trails that of this desert wilderness. Follow the path along desiccated riverbeds and groves of palm trees, observing the unique landscape formed many millions of years ago by volcanic activity. As you ride, your guide will keep track of the pace and comfort of all riders, ensuring you enjoy a fun, safe trip. As the day progresses, take a break by stopping by a Berber village to experience some local hospitality from a friendly family. Enjoy a snack of warm pancakes accompanied by Moroccan tea and plenty of lively conversation, both key staples of any proper desert gathering. Then say goodbye to your hosts as you continue your ride back to base camp, watching as the changing sky and desert landscape turns a soft shade of crimson and ocher.
